CALM Introduction Asynchronous Course

CALM (Curriculum for Adults Learning Math) was developed by the Adult Numeracy Center at TERC on behalf of Public Adult Education of Massachusetts. It is a CCRS-aligned curriculum that is designed to build strong conceptual understanding of core math concepts through visual models that spark dialogue and give teachers insight into student’s reasoning. Get an introduction to CALM and earn 4 CEUs by completing this asynchronous course!* The modules in the course will prepare you to participate in live CALM support sessions and to begin using CALM with your learners. In addition, you will be granted full access to the suite of CALM documents (unit plans, lesson plans, and supplementary materials) on Google Drive.
